I despise RealTek Audio on Windows 10. For so long I thought my Asus Nitro 5's audio system was hosed. It couldn't keep running if my life depended on it. And for too long. Far too long, I blamed Sonic-Pi's scsynth engine as the culprit. It wasn't. It was RealTek. So I finally chucked the RealTek audio drivers and let Windows use it's own audio. And it sounds just fine. No more problems with my synth's getting hosed or Windows forgetting my audio settings. But the most important thing of all is that Sonic-Pi no long hangs up and refuses to chooch. It would run for a couple of sessions, stop, and never get past the 'Scsynth Server failed to Boot' error unless I...COMPLETELY REINSTALLED WINDOWS 10. Yup, you read that right. So RealTek is gone and Sonic-Pi runs like kitten. And reliably. Unreal
